Inter Library Loan

It is neither feasible nor desirable to hold every resource required by the University. Borrowing of resources from external resources, especially the ones that rarely used and temporarily required makes the library system cost efficient. The library has established excellent relations with reputed libraries in the region to facilitate inter library loans. Also, our membership with DELNET makes this process easier and productive.

DELNET has been established with the prime objective of promoting resource sharing among the libraries through the development of a network of libraries. It aims to collect, store and disseminate information, besides offering computerized services to users, in order to coordinate efforts for suitable collection development and also to reduce unnecessary duplication wherever possible.
