The library supports the Ashoka research community by providing access to various research tools and platforms.
Turnitin is a commercial, Internet-based plagiarism-detection service launched in 1997. HDFC library – Ashoka University has a license to use the software to check research papers, draft articles, students report, dissertations, project documents etc. against its database and the content of other websites with the aim of identifying plagiarism.
Currently access to this software is given to Ashoka faculty and researchers only.
Ouriginal (Urkund) is provided to all Indian Universities under ShodhShuddhi, an initiative of MHRD, Govt. of India. Ouriginal (Urkund) is a plagiarism detection tool that reports the percentage of similarity in submitted assignments by the students.

CORE currently contains 135,539,113 open access articles, from over tens of thousands of journals, collected from 9,646 data providers around the world.

Reference libraries are compatible with other reference management programs, and difficulties can be quickly addressed via online forums.
